Each form investment has a rate of interest associated with
it else the investment will be meaningless. The interest rate gives an idea of
your earnings on investment. Fixed deposits are also bound to an interest rate
like any other investment so that investors can get some return over that. The
rate of interest varies with financial institutions. It also depends on the
time for which money must be deposited. Higher the times higher are the
percentage gains. Special considerations are also made for senior citizens who
get a higher rate of interest than younger counterparts to enhance their
financial security.
Summary:
Due to wide differences in rate of interest’s offerings on
fixed deposits it is very important to compare among before fixing on one. As
there are variety to factors to be judged a tool should be used to calculate
earning potential.
